My name is Lindiwe. 

 

I spend 50% of my time on earth laughing. I love being around people who make me laugh, and when I'm not around them- I have a one man stand up comedy show in my mind!

 

I can be a bit of on an 'old soul' -my idea of a perfect day includes a classic book and a pot of tea. I enjoy reading biographies of influential politicians, preachers and revolutionaries.  I find I can glean a lot of wisdom from reading about the decisions that shaped their lives. Most of my favourite bios are found in the Bible (Daniel, Esther and  Jesus- duh). 

 

I love all things Africa! I'm secretly the biggest fan of Nigerian Pop Music, I admire the beadwork and colorful patterns of Kenyan and South African fashion, and most of my favourite humans are Zimbawean! I'm a firm believer  in the fact that Africa has much more to offer the world beyond lion trophies and sad stories.

 

In my mind I'm an undiscovered up and coming rapper, in the same mind I'm also a fashion designer/actress/overall mega superstar.

 

Stuff I absolutely abhor:

 

Long walks on the beach and the feeling of sand between your toes! Seriously, sand is dirt, I don't  understand how that became 'romantic'!

 

Camping! I do not daydream about leaving the comfort of being under a roof in my warm bed to spend the night on the floor, in a tent!
